2008 GNAF08 Directed by Michael Jahoda White Box Project development GNAF08 gave a new collective a place to develop it. Boston and Amsterdam-based dance artist Michael Jahoda was invited to bring his vision for a collaborative music and dance group, The White Box Project, into Gloucester for the festival weekend. Jahoda chose imagery from the land to work from, to navigate the choices of Gloucester sites. A 1620 house that was at one time a preachers house, one time a pub, now an important preservation project; City Hall; lawns and streets; churches - these were the sites of dance and music improvisations that traveled, and led the public through town.
